Re: Appointment of New Head of School and Interim Principal Dear Parents and Friends of CCPCS, As you know, the CCPCS Board of Trustees has unanimously chosen to appoint Dr. Mark Reford as the new Head of School effective June 23, 2007. The selection was made after an extensive national search process. Currently, Dr. Reford, is the Academic Dean at Sidwell Friends School in DC. He is a welcomed addition and will make himself available over the next few months to assist in the preparation of the school for opening in the fall. I have attached some information about his background and the announcement of his appointment. Our current interim principal, Fred Evans, will be leaving at the end of December as per his original commitment. In his place we have selected Jay Breakiron who is a long time educator with a wealth of experience who will lead the school through the rest of the school year.
